The Church of Saint Leonard

The Church of St. Leonard dates back to the early 1500s and was annexed to the Hospital for the sick poor, where the municipal library now stands. It houses the statue of Mary of the Purgatory Souls and paintings depicting the Deposition of Jesus, St Leonard, the Holy Souls of Purgatory and St Jude Thaddeus. In the sacristy, in a small chapel, is the saint’s relic to whom the church is dedicated.
