The church is located in the new part of the village. It was built in the 1960s, owing to the continuous urban expansion of the period. Its ground plan is in the shape of a Latin cross. On the high altar is a majestic wooden crucifix.
On the sides are statues of St Rosalie, Saint Pius of Pietrelcina, the Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Four large paintings have recently been hung on the side walls, representing the principal stages of Salvation History: the Birth of Jesus, the Last Supper, the Resurrection and Pentecost.
